Cargo surge leads to embargo at Bangkok handler BFS
Bangkok Flight Services (BFS) has imposed an embargo on general cargo imports due to a surge in volumes.
The embargo is effective from midnight on Monday, February 12 to the same time on Sunday, February 18.
BFS cited the Red Sea crisis, the Chinese New Year, and a higher than expected cargo volume as reasons for the embargo.
The handler had been struggling to manage the cargo flow and had urged customers to use its track and trace service.
